Full Color Rendering – April 10, 2019
Final artist rendering of our 15,000 square feet corporate headquarters under construction in Asheville, NC. Progess continues with an expected opening in 2020 on Sweeten Creek Road.
Parking Lot Grading Complete – March 28, 2019
After a long stretch of rainy weather, a lot of visible progress has been made on the site. Footings and piers around the lot are dug and filled and potholes on Sweeten Creek Crossing have been filled and sealed. Currently work is underway with foundation blocks and underslab insulation.
Parking Lot Grading Complete – January 10, 2019
Grading for the future parking lot area is now complete. Temporary signage is also up on the site to help direct you to our store location and parking area.
Preliminary Construction Activities Begin – December 20, 2018
Pardon our dust while construction crews get underway with preliminary activities on the site of our future Read's Uniforms corporate headquarters building in Asheville, North Carolina. Our concrete pylon with signage for how to reach our parking area is down. The photos below should give you a sense of the landmarks you'll see as you're driving in and the small Sweeten Creek Crossing road you'll turn down to reach our parking lot.
Read's Uniforms To Build Corporate HQ In Asheville, NC – December 2018
Uniforms retailer Read's Uniforms to build 15,000 square feet corporate headquarters in Asheville, NC. The new building will include 5,500 square feet of dedicated retail space and over 5,000 square feet of warehouse and operations space to provide much needed storage and organizational improvements that will support all 9 retail store locations across the southeast. Their 55+ employees will be consolidated from two locations in Asheville into the new HQ building, scheduled to open on Sweeten Creek Road in 2020.
